The purpose of a work hardening program is to safely maximize your ability to participate in a comprehensive exercise program and work-simulated activities. A natural response to the type of activity level we are talking about is to have fear and doubts about your ability to participate. We know that through participation, these concerns will be resolved.
Most of your concerns are brought about by the pain you have and may continue to experience. Through participation in this program, many have been able to alleviate or resolve pain. Others have learned that they can function at a fairly high level in spite of their pain.
