Low back pain is one of the most commonly seen clinical
entities, both in primary care and pain clinic arena.
Back pain generally is subdivided into axial (nonradiating) and radicular (radiating) pain. An additional subdivision is whether the pain is acute, subacute, or chronic with different modalities for treating each.
